Business Analyst, Digital Identity
Status: Full Time Administrative Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Faculty/Department: Information Technology Services
Campus/Location: North Campus
Minimum Starting Salary: $95,910; starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience.

About the Business Analyst, Digital Identity Role:

Under the general direction of the Product Owner for Digital Identity, the Business Analyst, Digital Identity, plays a critical role in supporting Humber's transformation of identity and access management solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Requirements Gathering: Engaging with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for digital identity initiatives.




- Business Process Analysis: Analyzing existing business processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Documentation: Developing requirement specifications, process models, and project backlog items to effectively communicate business needs to technical teams.
- Relationship Management: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across different portfolio streams.
- Solution Assessment: Evaluating proposed solutions to ensure they align with business requirements and objectives.
- Gap Analysis: Identifying gaps between current and desired processes, and proposing effective solutions to address those gaps.
- Feasibility Studies: Assessing the viability and feasibility of proposed solutions in partnership with technical teams.
- Change Management:



Supporting change management efforts related to the implementation of new identity solutions and technology improvements.
- Business Case Development: Assisting in the development of business cases to prioritize work at both the portfolio and team level.

About You:
You are passionate about working at Ontario's largest Polytechnic; you thrive on improving productivity and quality that contribute to team success!

Education:

- A degree in a Business or Technology discipline.
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Change Management (e.g., Prosci) are considered an asset.

Experience/Skills:

- A minimum of three years of experience in business analysis, preferably in identity and access management, IT, or digital transformation.




- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex business processes and identify optimization opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in documenting requirements, use cases, and business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence).
