What We Offer
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Financial Analyst to support our Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely financial operations. This role requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week. We are flexible as to the specific arrangement of the 20 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to handling financial workflows.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Management:
- Track and organize invoices, ensuring all are added to the AP approval sheets and systems for review
- Collaborate with team members to obtain timely approvals for invoices
Vendor Communications:
- Reconcile vendor and company card transactions and report discrepancies
- Assist with other AP-related activities, excluding direct payments, which are managed by other team members
AP Workflow Support:
- Send payment confirmations to vendors and address queries related to accounts payable
- Schedule regular meetings with leaders for invoice approvals
Approval Coordination:
- Retrieve, coordinate, sort, and manage invoices across multiple accounting systems, emails and folders across multiple entities
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts payable or financial analysis
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle a high volume of tasks efficiently
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy
- Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and vendors effectively
- Familiarity with accounting software and invoice management systems
- Experience with Float card reconciliation and AP approval workflows. • Adaptability to collaborate with diverse teams and align with the organization’s financial objectives
- Ability to handle repetitive financial processes while maintaining precision
