Your Role
As a Project Manager in the healthcare sector, you will be at the forefront of delivering excellence, ensuring your projects not only meet but exceed client expectations.
You’ll oversee a number of healthcare projects, expertly balancing technical and financial outcomes, while partnering with clients to deliver innovative, patient-centered solutions that align with their strategic goals.
In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering essential components such as regulatory compliance frameworks, patient-centered design strategies, clinical workflow integration, risk mitigation protocols, and data-driven decision-making processes. Your expertise will ensure the successful execution of value-based, outcome-driven healthcare facilities that promote operational efficiency and enhance patient care.
As a key member of our team of motivated project managers, you will play a pivotal role in making a lasting impact on the communities we serve. By collaborating with local community leaders, you'll help deliver world-class healthcare facilities. We have several high-impact healthcare projects underway, with more on the horizon.
Responsibilities
- Champion and personify our values and culture
- Develop strong and lasting client relationships
- Act as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectives, which includes contract management
- Lead clients through the set-up, initiation, execution, monitoring and reporting of their projects
- Proactively manage projects, anticipating client needs, in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- A university degree or diploma in engineering or architecture (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in project coordination and management, experience with capital and maintenance programs is preferred but not required.
- Experience building and nurturing long-term client relationships and working collaboratively.
Note that previous roles inside an organization delivering projects for another department is considered comparable.
- Group facilitation and stakeholder management skills. Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional industry credentials such as PMP, P.Eng., CET, or similar industry-recognized designation is considered an asset.
- The ability to project and maintain a positive outlook, demonstrate an energetic disposition, and empower members to achieve project delivery.
