As a member of the Office Leasing Team, you will be:
Working alongside members of our team to gain an understanding of the overall leasing and sales process
Gaining an understanding of the importance of leasing, including broker relations and tours
Working with internal teams to ensure vacancy office units are ready for leasing
Assisting with the preparation of financial analysis for lease transactions
Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing programs and events for the Calgary office portfolio
Conducting market research to support the overall sales and marketing process
Gaining exposure to other areas of the Real Estate Management team including property management, construction and retail.
Other areas of focus can be tailored to specific interests of the student who join us, along with the needs of the business, and may include:
Leasing & Marketing
Learning the overall leasing and sales process from marketing, prospecting of new clients, broker relations and negotiations
Assist with the updating and creation of new marketing material and events for the office portfolio
Assist with the utilization of Prop Tech software such as VTS
Research
Developing market reports to support the Calgary region
Researching new industries in the province and providing recommendations of growing industries that marketing efforts can be directed to
Finance & Analysis
Learning how to develop, analyze and compare proposed lease transactions
Learn and assist with the development of transaction recommendations for senior leadership
To succeed in this role, you:
Are a returning student pursuing an undergraduate degree in commerce, real estate, urban planning, or related
Are interested in learning through a wide range of activities from marketing to finance to customer service
Are proficient in Microsoft products (Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Are self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail
Possess strong leadership, interpersonal skills, outstanding communication skills (verbal and written), and have proven problem solving and Project management skills
Are able to work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlines
Work effectively in a team environment and independently as required have a demonstrated passion for real estate management
