Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP S/4HANA Business Analyst / Business Consultant to join our team for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation project. As a key player in this transformational project, you will work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. Your role will focus on business requirements gathering, process optimization, solution design, and ensuring that SAP S/4HANA aligns with the organization’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Requirements Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements across various functional areas (e.g., Finance,
Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement).
- Map business processes to SAP S/4HANA functionalities, ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.
- Conduct workshops and interviews with business users to understand their pain points and requirements.
- Develop functional specifications and gap analysis reports for customization or system enhancements.
Solution Design and Configuration:
- Work with SAP functional teams (e.g., SAP FI/CO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP) to design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA solutions that align with business objectives.
- Ensure the design reflects the company's strategy, operational needs, and industry best practices.
- Participate in system configuration, ensuring that SAP modules are properly set up to meet business requirements.
Process Mapping and Optimization:
- Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements using SAP S/4HANA capabilities to drive process efficiency and automation.
- Develop and document business process flows, mapping them to the SAP S/4HANA solution to ensure smooth integration across business units.
- Identify and propose process optimization opportunities, focusing on streamlining workflows and enhancing productivity.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Assist in developing test scenarios and test scripts to validate that the SAP S/4HANA solution meets business requirements.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, ensuring defects are identified and resolved.
- Collaborate with users to troubleshoot issues and ensure a seamless testing phase prior to go-live.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are effectively communicated and understood by both sides.
- Work closely with project managers, SAP developers, and other functional consultants to deliver on-time,
quality SAP solutions.
- Prepare and deliver regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and milestones.
Post-Implementation Support and Continuous Improvement:
- Provide support during the post-go-live phase to address any issues and ensure smooth adoption of SAP S/4HANA.
- Assist business users in optimizing the use of SAP S/4HANA, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Help resolve post-implementation issues, ensuring that business operations remain uninterrupted.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) is a plus.
- Experience:
- At least 5+ years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst, SAP Consultant,
or similar role with direct experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Proven experience with various SAP S/4HANA modules (e.g., SAP FI/CO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP) and understanding of their integration.
- Experience in conducting business requirements workshops, process mapping, and solution design for SAP S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of business processes across finance, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or sales, and how they map to SAP S/4HANA.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Proficient in creating business process flows, functional specifications, and system documentation.
- Ability to support and drive change management efforts.
- Certifications:
- SAP S/4HANA certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA) is a strong advantage.
