Senior Application Support Analyst
Client: Big 5 Bank
Location: Hybrid Downtown Toronto, Ontario
Terms: 12 month contract, potential for extension and conversion
Hours: 37.5 hours/week Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Job Description:
- Identify and resolve medium to highly complex production problems for support of applications. Identify root cause and defining actions to eliminate recurrence.
- Monitor and analyze supported services to identify opportunities for improvement and recommends solutions.
- Confluence documentation
- Creating and updating incident/change/problem tickets
- Communication to business users of any ongoing issues or changes
- Use of Splunk for analysis and troubleshooting
Must haves:
- 5+ years of previous Application support experience
- Previous Confluence/Unix/SQL
- Splunk
Nice to have
- Previous FI experience
- Service now
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time management
- Able to troubleshoot
Education and Certifications: Computer Science background preferred.
