Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer to design, implement, and optimize ETL pipelines. The role requires expertise in Azure Data Factory, data warehouse design, and integration with reporting tools like Power BI. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and high-performing data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory .
- Integrate ETL processes with reporting tools, such as Power BI .
- Create and manage data warehouses and marts for platforms including SQL Server , Azure SQL Database , and Oracle .
- Debug and enhance complex SQL queries and transformations.
- Collaborate with teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps .
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Document technical designs, code changes, and deployment processes.
- Ensure scalable, high-quality data architecture that meets business needs.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in ETL development with expertise in Azure Data Factory .
- Strong experience in data modeling and designing star schema .
- Proficiency in SQL Server (2016+), Unix shell scripting , and debugging ETL processes.
- Familiarity with tools like Informatica PowerCenter and Power Designer is a plus.
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in public sector projects or large organizations.
- Knowledge of AODA compliance standards.
- Familiarity with middleware technologies and rapid application development.
