We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our Operations team. The Marketing Manager will report to the President. We believe the strongest asset to supporting students in their own career paths is knowledgeable and dedicated employees.

Role Overview:
The Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the Academy of Learning's mission by spearheading innovative marketing and promotional initiatives. This individual will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies to captivate prospective students, elevate brand visibility, and drive overall engagement with AOLCC. Collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders, the Marketing Manager will develop comprehensive marketing campaigns, leverage digital platforms for maximum impact,
and analyze marketing data to refine strategies continually. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, creative acumen, and a commitment to lifelong learning, aligning with our core principles to foster a culture of WOW!
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility and promote the programs and courses offered by the college.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including admissions, faculty, and administration to identify marketing needs and create compelling content for various channels (website, social media, email newsletters, print materials, etc.).
· Create engaging and persuasive marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, advertisements, and online content to attract prospective students and generate leads.
· Maintain and manage the college’s website,
ensuring up-to-date and relevant content optimized for search engines (SEO).
· Manage and oversee social medial platforms ensuring content is engaging, relevant and current for potential students, sharing news and updates and monitoring of online communications.
· Plan and coordinate participation in education fairs, industry events, and other external marketing opportunities to increase brand awareness/exposure and generate leads.
· Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, potential target markets, and identify areas of improvement in overall marketing strategy.
· Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports and recommendations to optimize marketing efforts.
· Collaborate with 3 rd party graphic designers, printers,
and external vendors to produce high-quality marketing materials within defined timelines and budgets.
· Remain current on industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and best practices to continuously improve marketing strategies and tactics.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
· A diploma in marketing is the minimum educational qualification required for this role.
· Proven experience (2-3 years) in marketing, preferably within the education sector.
· Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and platforms, including social media, content management systems, email marketing, and SEO.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content for different target audiences.
· Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Self-motivated, creative thinker, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Familiarity with Alberta's private career college sector and knowledge of relevant educational programs is an asset.
· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
