National Process Equipment Inc. DXP Natpro (www.natpro.com) is searching for an efficient and reliable Projects and Engineering Manager to join our team.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term and long-term project orders.
The Projects and Engineering Manager’s role will be to plan and design projects, establish project timelines and budgets, manage team members, and ensure projects stay within the allocated budget and timeline.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and have a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility is to coordinate and integrate work across multiple sectors and disciplines, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Plan and manage all aspects of engineering projects from conceptualization to completion
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules
- Coordinate and direct team members, vendors and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Review and approve project designs and reports
- Manage project resources and liaise with stakeholders
- Track project performance and make necessary corrections
- Prepare and present reports on project progress
- Manage risks and resolve any project issues
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Projects and Engineering Manager
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in project management software tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- BSc degree in Engineering or relevant field
- Peng Designation
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

Additional Information
Job Title: Engineering Project Manager
Work Environment: Office setting with occasional on-site visits. Some travel may be required for project inspections and meetings.
Reporting Structure: Reports to the VP Operations
Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Location: Calgary, Alberta
