The role will involve ensuring technical excellence, timely delivery, and effective coordination of multidisciplinary teams to achieve seamless project execution.
The Senior Engineer will be responsible for producing detailed designs and specifications while working closely with clients and other project stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage structural engineering design projects across multiple sectors, including workplace, residential, life sciences, education, retail, hotels, hospitality, sports, and leisure.Attend and contribute to project meetings, ensuring clear communication between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient project designs.Develop detailed designs, technical drawings, and specifications that meet project requirements, timelines, and budget.Contribute to project management efforts, including resource planning, tracking progress, and identifying risks.Ensure the coordination of design and detailing work throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.Mentor junior engineers and promote a collaborative,
team-oriented environment.Review and refine designs to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.Support the internal management of projects, taking a leadership role and demonstrating initiative and technical expertise.Skills & Experience Required:Chartered status or equivalent in Structural Engineering or working towards it.Proven experience in structural engineering design, with a focus on commercial, residential, and other large-scale projects.Strong technical knowledge in structural design and experience with complex engineering challenges.Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., TEDDS, Tekla, ETABS, etc.).Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.Strong project management capabilities, including resource management, budgeting,
