As an Inside Sales Representative within the Longboard team, your focus will be on seamlessly moving projects through their pipeline phases, driving customer satisfaction and strong internal communication to ensure the successful completion of projects within your region. In addition to facilitating the development of leads, Inside Sales Representatives also act as brand ambassadors seeking to increase Longboard’s brand awareness in the market, and actively support Business Development Managers in growing their respective territories.
Inside Sales Representatives are the resident experts in getting customers the technical information they need,
overseeing projects that can range in scope from single family homes all the way up to large multi-site commercial projects, following-up on leads, creating estimates/quotes for new opportunities, and acting as the inter-departmental glue driving strong communication between all departments respective to the leads and developments within the regions. Inside Sales Representatives are collaborative with their Business Development Manger(s) working to maximize the value of Longboard’s sales initiatives.
This role is critical to Longboard’s future success as the Inside Sales Representative helps drive the customer experience that sets Longboard apart in the market, centered around Radical Client Care.

What You Will Do:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of leads, from initial design inquiries through quoting, bidding, the general contractor (GC) phase, and final installation.
- Qualify incoming leads by assessing project details and fit within company offerings, prioritizing them based on urgency, size, and strategic value.
- Maintain momentum on qualified leads through diligent follow-ups and strategic pipeline management.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all client interactions and project statuses in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with field sales representatives to ensure timely follow-ups on opportunities.
- Ensure thorough follow-ups on all qualified leads to maintain momentum and advance them through the sales pipeline.
- Handle quoting processes and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
- Generate material estimates and ensure all quotes align with client needs and project specifications.
- Act as a liaison between clients, sales reps, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate shop drawing reviews and approvals with internal design and production teams.
- Track project milestones and deadlines, ensuring all phases progress smoothly.
- Manage communication between contractors, installers, and internal teams to resolve any project-related challenges.
Customer Relationship Support
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries related to timelines, product details, and project updates.
- Provide proactive communication to ensure customers are informed throughout the process.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in sales support, project coordination, or inside sales, preferably within the construction or architectural products industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, quoting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of architectural or construction project processes is an asset.
