We are seeking a Vice President, National Accounts to join our Retail team. Reporting to the Vice President, National Retail Sales,



in this role you will foster relationships with investment dealers and multi-manager asset managers to promote PenderFund’s investment strategies. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of national accounts and be skilled at collaborating with stakeholders to enhance growth and awareness within the investment dealer channel and multi-manager asset managers. Responsibilities will include:

- Build and maintain strong connections with investment dealers, multi-manager asset managers, head office gatekeepers, and analysts to achieve business goals.
- Incorporate recommended lists, models, liquid and O.M. alternative strategies on dealer platforms.
- Drive AUM growth across various business lines and facilitate the approval of OM related strategies.
- Organize conferences, national calls, roadshows and national account-sponsored events.




- Provide subject matter expertise to the retail team on investment platforms at different dealerships.
- Schedule and conduct quarterly meetings with head office gatekeepers and analysts.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and multi-channel distribution partners as subject matter expert.

- Provide subject matter expertise on Mutual Fund Recommended lists, UMA/SMA, Alternative strategies, Models, ETF’s.
- Work with retail and Institutional partners distribution teams to help cultivate new opportunities and support client relationships.
- Maintain and update account plans monthly as achieved.
- Strive to meet and exceed quarterly KPI’s.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
- CFA, CFP or MBA are considered a strong asset.
- Extensive knowledge of the investment industry,



including at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of Mutual Fund Recommended lists, multi-manager asset managers, UMA, Alternative Strategies (OM and Liquid), Models, ETF’s.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Morningstar Direct and Salesforce.
- Exceptional sales and client services with a proven track record.
- Excellent networking, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong business, planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently whiles supporting team goals.
- Leadership skills to grow and develop the National Sales team in the future.
- Willingness to travel and work outside the normal hours.
