Your Opportunity:
The University of Alberta Hospital is looking for an experienced, Ticketed Carpenter to join our Facilities Maintenace Team. The successful candidate must have a minimum 2 years of experience working in a facility setting. The successful candidate must also have proven experience in the following areas. Interior framing (Steel studs & wood), drywall & taping, general flooring repairs, door & window installation, baseboard & trim installation, Millwork installation, IPC compliant hoarding containments, General Carpentry knowledge.
Description:
As a Carpenter , you will perform a wide variety of journeyperson level carpentry duties associated with maintaining, renovating,
repairing and construction in accordance with building codes, blueprints and standards and practices. As a Carpenter, you will perform work related to the design, construction and repair of building structures, furniture and fixtures. In addition, you will perform preventative maintenance duties on structures and fixtures. You will be responsible for selecting and ordering appropriate supplies and materials as required.

Required Qualifications:

First Aid ticket. WRT ticket. Asbestos worker ticket. AWP ticket.
