The Director of Operations, Banff Lodging is a key member of a collaborative senior management team.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Banff Operations for Banff Jasper Collection, the Director of Operations is responsible for the onsite leadership and development of current and future hotels in the Banff Area (defined as south of Columbia Icefields).
Key responsibilities include the transformation of guest hospitality and employee engagement in addition to daily operations, maintenance, financial results, and community engagement.

Major Responsibilities
Lead Banff Lodging operations managers in the achievement of goals: financial, guest hospitality, employee engagement and community Inspire a culture of hospitality excellence within the team to deliver best-in-class, brand-aligned experiences to guests
Collaborate with VP, Operations in the development and execution of Banff Jasper Lodging strategies, business plans and goals
With support from Senior Director F&B; and team, manage the hotel F&B; teams to deliver integrated experiences and successful, competitive downtown restaurants.
Provide leadership and coaching that that inspires curiosity and results in an empowered, solution driven team that focuses on continuous improvement Partner with P&C; to achieve a highly engaged team, that meets staffing goals, promotes employee retention,
and builds talent internally Be a hands-on and engaging leader, with a high attention to details, implementing process, and procedure to solve problems and make positive changes
Create a guest obsessed team culture and lead transformation that results in high-value guest experiences In collaboration with VP Operations, manage day-to-day needs of property commercial tenants
Through industry and community engagement, represent BJC Lodging interests and maintain positive profile Partner with the Director of Facilities and VP, Operations to ensure physical assets support hospitality excellence
Establish controls that create accountability, identify risks and opportunities
Report on month end results, forecast future expense and contribute to the development of annual budgets
Report business needs and solutions to VP, Operations on a weekly basis

Proven ability to transformed guest experience and employee engagement
Proven leadership experience in world class/market leading hotels Experience with best in class operating systems, training,
colleague development and the operational management of large and complex hotel properties Experience managing annual budgets, P&L; statements, and Capital budget requests
Experience using guest satisfaction platforms such as Revinate, Trip Advisor, and similar platforms that measure NPSAbility to understand and analyze guest and employee feedback, build appropriate action plans, implement, and respond professionally to concerns
