Manager, Digital Communications and Social Media
Reporting to the Vice President of Public Affairs, the Social Media and Digital Communications Manager will provide creative, analytical, and leadership skills to oversee the Company’s digital presence to promote Alamos Gold as a leading Canadian-based diversified gold producer with three operating mines in North America and a commitment to the highest standards of sustainable development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with business goals and our Company’s brand values, with compelling story-telling.
- Lead in social media content creation with best-in-class visuals and videos, and monitoring the company’s online presence
- Support Alamos Gold’s website management and digital advertising efforts, ensuring optimal ROI through paid campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other digital channels
- Work with Alamos’ mining sites, Investor Relations, Human Resources, IT, Sustainability and other internal departments on digital communications channels, strategies and tools
- Track and analyze Alamos’ digital performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and digital advertising dashboards, and use data-driven insights to refine strategies, optimize campaigns, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
