This role presents an exciting opportunity to support meaningful change by uniting key Domestic Violence stakeholders in the Calgary area, with a strong possibility of having an impact province-wide in the future. The ShelterLink System of Care is an innovative, collaborative initiative led by YWCA Calgary and FearIsNotLove to ensure that the needs of all families experiencing Domestic Violence are met. Reporting to the Director of Organizational Impact, at YW Calgary, the ShelterLink Project Lead will actively support the work of the ShelterLink System of Care Partnership.



They will build and sustain long-term collaborations among organizational partners using the ShelterLink Platform and other community organizations working to eliminate domestic violence. They will maintain transparency and flexibility to onboard additional partners as needed, to meet project objectives. They oversee the non-technical refinement of the ShelterLink Platform, collaborating with contracted technical resources to ensure it aligns with project goals and is increasingly useful for System of Care partners. They will also seek opportunities to activate the gathered data and build support for the initiative through presentations and conversations.

This is a 37.5-hour position with eligibility for hybrid work arrangements.

What You'll Do:

- Maintain an effective collaboration among key partners working toward the main project goals.
- Coordinate active,



regular communication among partners who join the project.
- Organize, facilitate, and document the results of regularly scheduled partner meetings, as well as ensuring follow up to any decisions or recommendations.
- Provide onboarding of partners, to the Shelterlink platform.
- Provide (non-technical) partner orientation and daily first-level support for platform users.
- Share and contribute to interpretation of KPI and other data collected as part of the project.
- Support evaluation activities through the collection of quantitative survey results or qualitative feedback as required.
- Provide recommendations for project refinement and improvements.
- Provide regular project reports to YW Leadership and as requested.
- Prepare funder reports according to the funding contract requirements




- Gather and document any non-technical partner feedback for the data repository objective of the project.
- Gather, document and share any non-technical partner feedback necessary to support the platform enhancement objective of the project

What You'll Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline such as social sciences, social work or public policy (equivalencies and alternate disciplines will be considered) combined with at least 5 years of professional experience
- Demonstrated success facilitating a collaboration of service provider leaders
- Experience managing a project with specific objectives and strong general project management skills
- An understanding of the Women’s Emergency Shelter sector in Calgary/Alberta and familiarity with complementary services such as mental health supports, housing and basic needs




- A strong understanding of the factors that contribute to Domestic/Inter-Personal Violence
- A working knowledge of the Collective Impact model
- Comfortable using web-based technology and Microsoft Office products (intermediate level)
- Partnership brokering training an asset
