Our fashion startup has launched an exciting new brand (soft launched September 27, 2024 in Los Angeles), and we are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-driven professional to spearhead our efforts to elevate this brand and maximize revenue. As the Sales and Marketing Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our business, tasked with developing innovative sales tactics and marketing campaigns to captivate our target audience. Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy: Developing a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with our overall business goals. Defining the brand’s positioning, messaging, and target audience.
- Campaign Development: Creating and implementing high-impact marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and in-person events.
- Digital Marketing: Leveraging digital platforms and technologies to reach and engage with the target audience. This includes managing the brand’s website, social media channels, email marketing, and SEO strategies.
- Content Marketing: Creating, publishing, and distributing content that will attract, engage, and retain our target audience.
- Sales: Setting sales goals, developing plans to acquire new customers, analyzing sales data and improving upon it.
- Advertising and Promotion: Planning and executing advertising and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
- Business Development: Identifying business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and collaborations,
to acquire new customers and drive growth and profitability.
- Market Research: Conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify consumer behaviour and trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for growth.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring and analyzing the performance of sales and marketing campaigns using various analytics tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven experience in progressively responsible marketing roles in a consumer-facing industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position in marketing, advertising, communications, media, or equivalent.
- Thorough understanding of a range of marketing techniques, such as digital marketing and social media marketing. Proven track record of delivering innovative digital marketing campaigns that drive long-term results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deep understanding of how to effectively communicate with different audiences. Deep understanding of storytelling.
- Ability to produce and manage large projects and see them through to completion.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into effective marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership to motivate and manage teams. Strong team management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Results driven, proactive self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and lead the team through evolving challenges.
- Knowledge and solid understanding of the fashion industry and its unique dynamics is a strong asset.
- Knowledge and solid understanding of the marketing needs of Gen X/Xennial women is a strong asset.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in related field
Salary Range:
- $90,000-$120,000/year, commensurate with experience

- Hybrid
- Ideally located in Toronto or Vancouver
