Description

Wood is currently recruiting for Graduate Electrical Engineers in Training (EIT) to join the engineering team(s) within our Oil & Gas Canada business based in Calgary, AB or Edmonton, AB.

Our projects team has a long history of delivering some of the biggest and most complex projects in the Canadian oilsands, along with associated pipelines and refinery infrastructure. Wood has a strong presence in the energy transition supporting the rapidly growing decarbonization and renewables industry in Canada and across the globe.

Please note this role will work our standard hybrid office schedule.

Responsibilities

- Strong written and oral communication (English) skills
- Currently registered as an EIT with APEGA
- Able to apply the theories, codes and standards appropriate to the Electrical discipline
- Professional demeanor, interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic team; while still being able to take responsibility and ownership of individual assignments.

Qualifications

- Recent graduate with a BSC, BEng or equivalent as an Electrical Engineer, Petroleum Engineer, Industrial Systems Engineer (within 2 years) or equivalent discipline
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
