Our Calgary client is looking for a Senior Application Security Analyst specializing in SaaS and Azure Services to support security initiatives for the business.
Six month contract to start, possibility of contract to hire. Full time on site required.
Must Haves:
- 10+ years of experience within IT (Software Development, Security, DevSecOps, etc.)
- 5+ years as an Information Security Analyst, focusing on vulnerability management and PCI audit preparation.
- PCI assessor experience
- Proven expertise in securing SaaS services, Azure cloud infrastructure, and custom-developed applications with secure SDLC principles.
- Extensive experience in threat detection, protection, and remediation, particularly in PCI-DSS environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Check Point security tools.
Nice to Haves:
- Familiarity with public cloud networking and programming/scripting in PCI-regulated environments.
- Experience conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SSCP.
Responsibilities:
- Recommend and implement protection services and policies to reduce risks in SaaS services and custom applications while ensuring PCI-DSS compliance.
- Identify and drive improvements in threat detection, protection, and remediation services.
- Establish security baselines aligned with industry frameworks and standards.
- Lead, mentor, and actively participate in SOC activities to remediate cybersecurity threats.
- Conduct and oversee vulnerability audits, penetration testing, and security assessments.
- Respond to critical cybersecurity incidents, including after-hours when necessary.
