Location Address: Hybrid - Scarborough - mostly WFH, coming in for training and ad hoc meetings - 1/month after training period, preference for candidates in GTA

Contract Duration: 6 months

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

Story Behind the Need

- Business group: GIAM - IAM Engineering
- Project: To help cleanup and synchronize data between end points that are part of the CloudIDP project and participate in data analytics / gap analysis to identify gaps in current data flow between IAM.

Typical Day in Role:

- An Identity and Access Management (IAM)



Data Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of an organization's data by managing user identities and access controls. This position reporting to the Senior Manager, IAM Engineering will review current data flow and assess gaps with a view to recommending and implementing changes to meet business requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in data analytics / gap analysis to identify gaps in current data flow between IAM systems including but not limited to AD, Entra, LDAP, Sailpoint IIQ, Database, etc.
- Participate in preparation of reports on findings and present recommendations
- Work with Engineering team to prepare implementation strategy
- Work with Engineering team to implement recommendations

Must Have Skills:

- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of identity and access management principles, knowledge of IAM tools and platforms such as Sailpoint IdentityIQ, Entra, Active Directory, LDAP, SDLC, STLC.
- Programming Skills:



Proficiency in programming like Python/ Java and Scripting in PowerShell
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of access control models, authentication methods, and security protocols
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data using tools such as advanced excel (vlookup, pivot, vba scripting) and DB SQL queries

Nice-To-Have Skills:

- Development skills in Sailpoint IdentityIQ would be considered an asset

Education & Certificates:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

Best VS. Average Candidate:

- IAM principles & Tools experience, SailPoint development experience along with Python / Java

Interviews:

- 60 mins technical Panel interview on MS teams
