and SIG teams to provide on premise support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities: Event and End User Support: Setup and configure event and meeting spaces, including moving tables and chairs as required.
Connect and manage AV equipment as required.
Assist end users in connecting to meetings and events as well as sharing content.
Incident Management: Direct support in response to user reported incidents, as well as escalation management to the client, or AVI-SPL's Subject Matter Experts.
Manage incidents using the client case ticketing system and, when applicable, the AVI SPL system.
Level 1 Support: Provide level 1 triage support for all reported incidents.
Provide Level 2 break/fix support of audio-visual systems following a failure with the support of AVI SPL technical resources.
System Checks: Operational checks of system(s) functionality and preparedness.
Ensure that all technologies meet or exceed client standards.
Preventive Maintenance:
Scheduled full system checks and hardware service with the support of AVI SPL technical resources.
Equipment Repair: Coordination of repairs to system components.
Reporting: Record the metrics and report KPIs relevant to the services delivered.
Inventory Management: Management of the spare equipment and consumables inventory, and other assets directly related to the delivery of these services.
Items to Consider: This role is located in Toronto, Ontario.
Hours of work will be 11am to 8pm, Monday to Friday.AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary.
Work hours may vary based on client requirements.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORMust-Haves:A positive, upbeat attitude3 to 5 years of live event, rental staging or audio/visual permanent installation experience
Familiarity with standard seating and table configurations
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs on a regular basis
Ability to work and think independently and meet critical deadlines in a high paced environment
Ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues
Nice-To-Haves: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Audio-Visual certifications: Crestron Professional Installation
