Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working from home with occasional in-office requirements based in Mississauga.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, client acquisition, relationship management, and recruiting. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, securing new clients, and nurturing existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
- Recruitment: Lead recruitment efforts to build and strengthen the team, ensuring we have the right talent to meet our business goals.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify areas for growth.
- Strategy Development: Work closely with leadership to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and business objectives are met.
- Performance Metrics: Set and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for business growth and client acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
- Strong track record of successfully acquiring clients and growing business revenue.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in recruiting and building high-performing teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of the (industry) market and trends is an asset.
- A results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving targets.
