We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative professional to join our Calgary team. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in inside sales and customer service within the building materials industry. You will act as a liaison between the warehouse, inside sales, and outside sales teams to ensure smooth operations, while handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and managing administrative tasks.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (occasional overtime as needed).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Fundamental Job Responsibilities):

Customer Service & Inside Sales:

Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
Check stock levels,



availability, and manage Formica product calls.
Provide product information to customers and assist in fulfilling orders.
Support inside and outside sales teams and assist in upselling or cross-selling products and services as needed.

Administrative Duties:

Process cheque deposits, manage filing, and handle claim management tasks.
Assist with various administrative duties such as maintaining records, invoicing, and updating contact lists.
Communicate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in customer service or inside sales is an asset.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail, especially in managing samples and merchandising.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable learning new systems.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.




Problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
A positive attitude and self-motivation to provide excellent customer service and support the sales team.
Experience in the building materials or construction industry is an asset but not required.
