Job Description:
The TD Equipment Finance Team (TDEF) is a Center of Excellence within TD's Specialty Commercial Banking. Its mandate is to structure equipment financing (leases and loans) for current and potential business customers, offering them an alternative to traditional sources of bank financing.
Leveraging your skills in a collaborative and team-oriented work environment, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Promoting business development through solicitation, prospecting, and participation in sector activities;
- Developing and implementing direct solicitation and marketing strategies to meet and exceed targets;
- Supporting account managers in expanding their customer database;
- Preparing and analyzing credit applications from current and potential customers;
- Assisting current clients during annual credit reviews;
- Participating in the legal and administrative processes necessary for financing operations;
- Monitoring overdue payments and collecting interest thereon.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration in progress
- Relevant experience in sales or customer relationship management
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment
- Superior skills in business development
- Strong initiative and ability to establish relationships
- Commitment to customer-focused service to optimize retention and growth
- Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of financing and accounting
- Strong administrative skills and exceptional organizational abilities
- Preferred: Academic specialization in finance or accounting
Additional Details:
- This position is an 8-month work term commencing May 5th – December 19, 2025.
