We are looking for a Site Supervisor (On-Site) to start immediately. If you’re an experienced, hands-on professional in construction, this is your chance to join a dynamic team. You’ll be working on some of Calgary’s premier commercial millwork projects, combining site management with hands-on work every day.
Location: Calgary, Alberta
About Us
We specialize in commercial millwork, providing finishing millwork for grocery chains, banks, medical labs/offices, and similar projects. Recently, we’ve expanded into finishing millwork for multi-complex seniors' residences and condominiums.
Your Role
As a Site Supervisor, you'll be at the core of operations,
managing projects hands-on while ensuring quality and efficiency. This is not a desk job; we’re looking for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of millwork projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet project timelines and budgets.
- Spend time “on the tools” each day while also supervising—determining where you can contribute and execute tasks and where you can assign work.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Provide support and guidance to site crews and subcontractors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including project progress reports and change orders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site supervision, preferably in commercial millwork projects.
- In-depth knowledge of millwork processes, materials, and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in project management software is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
