Location: Calgary, Alberta
Your Role at Turnkey
As a Site Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing projects hands-on while ensuring quality and efficiency. This is not a desk job; we’re looking for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and lead by example.
Please note:
Your role will involve a balanced focus, dedicating 50% of your efforts to hands-on tool utilization and the remaining 50% to strategic management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, with a focus on new builds and whole-home projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet project timelines and budgets.
- Spend time “on the tools” each day while also supervising—contributing directly to tasks and delegating where needed.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to site crews and subcontractors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including project progress reports and change orders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site supervision, with proven expertise in new build and whole-home projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes,
materials, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in project management software is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
- Be part of a reputable, client-focused company with a strong legacy of excellence.
- Work on diverse, high-quality projects in Calgary and surrounding areas.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Opportunities for professional growth and development.
If you’re a hands-on professional with a passion for construction and a proven track record in new builds, we’d love to hear from you!
