Job Details:
Position Title: Agile Team Facilitator
Status: Full Time Admin Contract (12 months)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Faculty/Department: Project Management Office (PMO)
Campus/Location: North Campus / Hybrid Flexible Work Program (3 days a week)
Minimum Starting Salary: $93,705; starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience.

About the Agile Team Facilitator Role:
The Agile Team Facilitator enhances team effectiveness by guiding product teams in practices that increase transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Major duties include facilitating key team events and providing support in removing impediments to ensure smooth and productive workflows. This role is vital in fostering a collaborative environment where teams take ownership of their processes, resolve obstacles efficiently, and align with business objectives. By promoting agile methodologies and best practices, the facilitator ensures teams remain focused, adaptable, and aligned with Humber’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate team events, including daily team check-ins; planning, goal alignment, and refinement sessions; reviews; and futurespectives, ensuring that the team takes ownership of their planning, execution, and reflection processes.
- Support the team in the identification and removal of impediments that hinder team progress,
ensuring smooth workflow and productivity.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog, in alignment with business goals.
- Observe team performance and provide insights and recommendations for enhancement.
- Coach and mentor the team on Humber WoW principles and best practices to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) or equivalent certification.
Experience/Skills
- Demonstrated experience as an Agile Team Facilitator, Scrum Master, or similar role
- Proven expertise in various Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
- Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and drive consensus among team members.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
