The Saskatoon & Region Home Builders Association is an industry association which exists to support our members through advocacy, continuing education, professional development opportunities, and member events.
The Position:
The Saskatoon & Region Home Builders Association is seeking a Manager of Major Projects to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this full-time, salaried position (37.5 hours/week) plays a vital role in the successful delivery of the Associations flagship projects and initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable management experience in project coordination, sales, marketing, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
The Manager of Major Projects will oversee planning, execution, and evaluation of the SRHBAs major projects, including but not limited to:
HomeStyles Home & Renovation Show
Housing Excellence Awards
Parade of Homes
Networking Series
Builders Classic Golf Tournament
Annual Conference
Specific responsibilities include:
Leading project teams through planning, implementation, and follow-up phases.
Evaluating current practices and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Developing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring alignment with financial goals.
Drafting comprehensive closing reports with recommendations for future enhancements.
Overseeing sponsorship sales, including elite sponsorship packages, and ensuring targets are met.
Managing marketing and communications efforts, including social media and promotional campaigns, in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
Driving member engagement and enhancing the overall public and member experience at events.
Ability to effectively promote the mission, vision and goals of the SRHBA to members, stakeholders, partner agencies, government officials and the general public.
