[QST750] Patient Safety Specialist

The Patient Safety Specialist will work collaboratively with leaders and their teams to support and improve Patient Safety at Southlake Regional Health Centre through guidance, support, subject matter expertise and education. The expectations of this role is achieved by working with teams (staff, physicians, patients and families) across the organization in the analysis of current and future workflows, while identifying opportunities for improvement by designing, developing, testing and implementing change ideas in alignment with the organizations priorities. The successful candidate will strive to be innovative and patient centered, they will help to lead and promote patient safety initiatives using engagement strategies,



and developing or modifying processes and policies helping to meet our strategic goals. The successful candidate will work in a team environment and support the organization in leading teams in the Accreditation process.
