Created in 2015 to align, lighten and modernize infrastructure, the Technology & Infrastructure (T & I) team is the backbone and the future forward arm of CBC/Radio-Canada. This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Your Opportunity
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing the needs of a diverse portfolio of digital solutions, with a focus on planning and distribution applications. Your mission is to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and bridge the gap between business partners and technical teams.
Your Role
- Propose, lead, and conduct meetings or workshops with end users, project members, or the vendor to determine needs.
- Act as a liaison between end users, stakeholders, and various internal departments.
- Assist partners in clarifying their vision.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, gaps, and workflow optimizations, and document options clearly and consistently.




- Participate in data mapping and migration.
- Actively contribute to multiple Scrum teams to deliver solutions iteratively and incrementally.
- Help create and maintain various test/validation scripts based on clients' business processes, and perform application testing to ensure compliance with CBC/Radio-Canada requirements.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions by guiding users to validate the application's functionality.
- Ensure non-compliance cases (bugs or gaps) are communicated to the vendor using the issue tracking system (e.g., Jira).
- Configure the system to meet end users' needs.
Location
This position is based in Toronto or Montreal.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:
Education and Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, college diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Business Analysis certification (CBAP, IIBA, PMI-PBA): an asset.
Experience
- 5+ years in business process analysis.
- Familiarity with the Canadian broadcasting and advertising sales industry (asset).
- Expertise in gathering, documenting, and analyzing requirements.
Skills
- Technical: Strong analytical skills, innovative solutions, familiarity with broadcasting systems (asset).
- Interpersonal: Excellent bilingual communication, effective collaboration, and client-focused approach.
Personal Attributes
- Sound judgment, autonomy, and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.




- Initiative, creativity, and flexibility to drive change.
Availability
- Occasional travel to Toronto or Montreal.
