Job Description
Curinos is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager – Automation & Performance. This position reports to the Director of Curinos QA. The role involves being a leader in the quality assurance process of many SaaS, AI/ML analytical applications in HTML5 frameworks with a Micro-Service based architecture.
Responsibilities
- Remotely manage and mentor 5 QA Engineers located in North America and India.
- Prepare QA metrics & KPIs to understand quality trends by product.
- Research, select and implement leading edge AI based software testing tools.
- Manage and maintain reliable clean test data sets to enable consistent test results from release to release.
- Work within Agile Scrum teams meeting with Engineering Managers, Architects, Developers and Product Managers to determine the quality assurance parameters, acceptance criteria, and verifying quality ahead of CI/CD deployments.
- Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines.
- Use automation frameworks (Selenium, Postman and others) to ensure tests are incorporated into reusable automated test suites. Testing scope includes API services, User Interfaces,
Reports & Data Visualizations.
- Plan, design, and execute performance tests using JMeter and other load testing tools to assess application responsiveness, stability, and scalability under different load conditions. Monitoring of CPU utilization, memory utilization and network latency.
- Implement best practices for test automation, including test case modularity, reusability, and maintainability.
- Conduct test automation code reviews and ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
- Responding to requests from Product Managers and Developers.
- Investigating quality issues understand how and why defects were not detected in released code.
Qualifications
Desired Skills & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience (8+ years) in software quality assurance,
test automation, and performance testing.
- Two plus years leading and managing a test team.
- Hands-on experience using UI automation with tools like Selenium & Playwright.
- Strong experience in API automation – Postman experience preferred.
- Experience with performance testing using JMeter or similar tools, including test script creation, execution, and result analysis.
- Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and potential optimizations for the engineering team to investigate.
- Proficiency with Python and JavaScript
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with database technologies including RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML5,
CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment.

- Knowledge of the Robot Testing Framework
