CC&L; Financial Group is seeking an Intern to join our Strategy & Change Management Team for a 4-month term (May - August 2025).

The Intern, Strategy & Change Management plays a key role in supporting strategic projects across Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital, providing market, competitive and customer intelligence, building relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting the strategic planning process.
Primary Areas of Support
Strategic and Change Management Advisory Services
- Support strategy development, including research, analysis,
and compelling strategic recommendations that solve business problems.
- Gather data and perform financial analyses to identify opportunities and diagnose issues.
- Create financial models to assess future state financial benefits/costs.
- Contribute to problem-solving sessions, workshops, and interviews with cross-functional and business line working team members and subject matter experts.
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to support the achievement of deliverables and overall objectives.
Market, Customer, and Competitive Assessment
- Provide key market, customer, and competitive assessments for the overall Wealth and Financial Services industry, as well as specific project needs, including:
- Key industry trends impacting the Wealth and Financial Services industry, including regulatory, customer, geographical, and innovation trends.
- Key competitive insights, including robust benchmarking of key performance metrics that help surface gaps/opportunities.
- Review and generate insights using other internal reports.
- Champion a client-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader relationships, systems, and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience
The Intern, Strategy & Change Management position is geared toward students in their third/fourth year of an undergraduate degree or MBA with a focus on Finance, Business, Engineering, and/or Economics. We are seeking ambitious students with a strong academic track record interested in making an impact in process efficiencies at CC&L.;
Requirements
- At least one previous internship or professional experience in a similar role.
- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic business environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, leadership, and influential capabilities.
- Strong planning and analytical skills, ability to discern research information/data and focus on critical business issues.
- Strong presentation and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of other MS Office products including Word and PowerPoint.
