Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Manager at BUILD IT. The Construction Manager will be responsible for supervising construction projects, managing budgets,

ensuring construction safety standards are met, and overseeing project control activities in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.

Qualifications

- Supervisory Skills, Project Control
- Budgeting, Construction
- Construction Safety
- Experience in construction management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Relevant certification or diploma in Construction Management or related field

Key Responsibilities

- Project Management: Supervise the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects.
- Budget Control: Manage project budgets, controlling costs and financial reporting.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
- Safety Oversight:

Enforce safety standards and compliance with regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets BUILD IT’s quality and client expectations.
- Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular project updates.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify risks and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
- Permitting & Compliance: Ensure all permits are secured and projects comply with local building codes.
