About the Role:
An Automotive Service Technician at Trotman Auto Group helps keep the shop running smoothly by repairing, maintaining, and diagnosing vehicles. They follow company and manufacturer guidelines to make sure customers are happy with their service.
Schedule:
Full-time; Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM plus rotating Saturdays
Compensation: Flat Rate $35-$41/hr + Bonus

Who You Are:
- Certification: Journeyman with a Valid Red Seal Technician Certification
- License: Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
- Skills:
Thorough knowledge of technical repairs and procedures, and ability to work efficiently under pressure, consistent flat rater
- Attitude: Pride in workmanship, confident in your abilities, and a desire to exceed customer’s expectations
- Strong Communicator: Both verbal and written
What Your Day Will Look Like:
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform maintenance and repairs as assigned.
- Diagnosing Issues: Identify the source of malfunctions and determine what repairs or maintenance is needed.
- Safety Inspections: Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required and perform road tests when needed.
- Communication: Clearly explain procedures and repairs to the Service Advisors.
- Compliance: Follow provincial and company policies and safety regulations.
