The Role:

To start, we are on the lookout for an ambitious Toronto based Market Manager to lead our sales efforts in the area.

The truth is, we compete in a crowded industry, and designers are overwhelmed navigating the options. So, our contribution to the industry is beautifully designed furniture with easy to navigate tools. We want you to become the design community’s ‘want to work with you’ go-to person, promoting Studio TK’s portfolio to architects, designers, end users, and dealers.

We are part of the Teknion family which include products from Teknion, Teknion Architectural Interiors, Luum - & Studio TK. Until now,

we have been promoted in under the Teknion umbrella; with this new role we are cutting the apron strings and going out to the market on our own.

Your mission? Build our Brand presence and grow our market share.

What You’ll Do:

You will hit or surpass your sales targets because you are a Rockstar!

Most of your day will be focused on business development and uncovering sales leads within the A&D; - Architecture & Design community. The rest of your time will be spent with potential or existing clients and our distribution partners (dealers).

You will be free to dive into various vertical markets (education, healthcare, corporate, and hospitality) – whatever you think will bring in the most revenue.

In the pursuit of sales opportunities, balancing various activities and responsibilities is crucial. Here is a breakdown of some, probably not all, key activities and responsibilities you might encounter:

Collision opportunities help foster relationships and provide insight into sales leads.
- In the sales cycle, you will help the process by providing product information/assets, fabric and finish options, pricing strategies and project specific presentations. Responsiveness & follow-up are key to ensure you are hitting the mark and opening doors for new opportunities.
- You will be tenacious in staying ahead of the competition. You will need to understand their products,

pricing and how they service their customers & the industry.
- You will keep a record of all your activities and sales pursuits in our CRM platform, ensuring the most accurate and up-to-date information is available.
- Once you are ready, you will be the ‘go-to support’ for your regional Teknion sales team and dealer network, offering product knowledge, resources, and product solution support.
- This goes without saying but we will say it anyway, you align your work with our company goals & protocols and maintain regular, reliable attendance.

With the support of colleagues at Teknion as well as your manager at Studio TK we will help you craft a game plan to target design firms, clients, and dealers. Together you will keep the lines of communication open with management to make sure everything is on track.
