We're looking for a Class 1 Driver to join our dynamic team!

As a Class 1 Driver at Cascadia Metals, you'll play an essential role in our operations.



We seek a motivated and reliable team member who thrives on responsibility and embraces a champion mindset. This position goes beyond just driving-it's about contributing to a collaborative team where your hard work and dedication directly impact our continued success.

Job Overview:

- You will operate safely in the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas, moving sheet metal products (Coil and Sheet) normally but not exclusively using a 2015 western star and 48ft flat deck trailer.
- Tarp loads as needed and ensure safe, secure transport of materials
- Occasionally travel to Calgary, Stettler, and Grande Prairie
- Navigate through Edmonton, including smaller shops, while ensuring smooth deliveries
- Experience in load securement (sheet metal) is an asset
- A forklift ticket and ability to load your own truck are assets, but not required
- When not on the road, assist with packaging in the shop, performing maintenance tasks, and supporting smaller truck deliveries as needed

Key Responsibilities:

- Adhere to all safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment
- Safeguard the integrity of products during transport
- Maintain a clean, professional company vehicle




- Be an ambassador of Cascadia Metals, representing our commitment to excellence
- Tackle daily challenges with a problem-solving approach
- Maintain open and professional communication with customers, team members, and stakeholders
- Complete driver's logbooks and other paperwork related to incoming/outgoing materials
- Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Maintain equipment and property to high standards

Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- Valid Class 1 License with Air Brake Certification
- A clean, 10-year driver abstract
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management skills
