- Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade.
- Three (3) years of practical warehouse experience.
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehousing practices.
- Proficiency in the SAP system.
- Knowledge of WHMIS and MSDS would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of EPS Uniform and Protective equipment policies and procedures.
- Possession of a valid Alberta Class 5 Motor Vehicle Operator's License and must be eligible to hold a City Driving Permit would be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated courteous and cooperative attitude in providing customer service.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position including standing for extended periods of time and lifting heavy boxes up to 50 lbs.




- Mechanical aptitude and dexterity considered an asset.
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
- Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts, stock pickers and pallet jacks would be considered an asset.
- SAP experience would be considered an asset.
- Working experience with laser engravers would be considered an asset. Applicants may be tested.
- As part of your pre-hire screening, you will be required to complete an Enhanced Security Clearance. Should you accept employment with the Edmonton Police Service you acknowledge and agree to participate in future Enhanced Security Re-Clearances at scheduled intervals or in any other circumstances, exigent or otherwise, as required by Human Resources Division.

Hours of Work:
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Hours of work may be subject to the terms and conditions of variable hours of work program.

Salary Range:
21B, Salary Grade: 014, $28.27 - $35.48 (Hourly), $2,261.90 - $2,838.60(Bi-Weekly), $59,036 – 74,086 (Annually).



The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.

HR Technician: BS

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking a Warehouse Technician II to provide customer service in support of the Materials Management Branch. In this position, your responsibilities include:

- Act as a lead hand for the warehouse team, providing guidance and supervision to Warehouse Technician I staff.
- Assign daily tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to established procedures.
- Mentor and train junior staff, fostering professional development and reinforcing best practices.
- Coordinate team activities to meet critical deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of uniforms and protective equipment.
- Build strong working relationships with internal customers, including sworn members and administrative staff, to understand their needs and priorities.




- Provide prompt and accurate responses to inquiries regarding materials, orders, and inventory availability
- Oversee the accurate tracking and maintenance of inventory, ensuring stock levels are sufficient to meet operational demands for policing uniforms, protective equipment, firearms, and controlled materials.
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy, ensuring that all items, including sensitive materials, are properly accounted for and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Determine material requirements in collaboration with internal customers and initiate purchase orders.
- Work with vendors to expedite deliveries, resolve supply issues, and negotiate timelines.




- Reconcile discrepancies in pricing, quantity, and quality, and address damage claims as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all procurement activities
- Performing other related duties
