OpportunityOur Design team is growing and we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who loves building creative and intuitive products and is comfortable with balancing people's problems, business goals and technological constraints.
About MethodMethod understands that businesses are unique and so it is our vision to create a small business platform that is easily personalized for each of our customers. Our flagship product is Method CRM, a customer relationship management tool made specifically for small businesses who have outgrown their processes. The RoleAs a Senior Product Designer, you will have the opportunity to solve challenging problems that impact small and medium sized businesses. You will work collaboratively with diverse teams of developers, product managers, marketers and client services.

- Own the end-to-end product design process, including user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing to deliver innovative, user-centered solutions.
- Identify gaps and drive the evolution of Method’s design system by creating scalable, reusable components that ensure efficiency and consistency across platforms.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to define product strategies, align design priorities with business goals, and ensure seamless design-to-development handoffs.




- Anticipate and address system-wide usability challenges with forward-thinking solutions validated through data, user insights, and testing.
- Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level designers by sharing best practices, facilitating design workshops, and fostering a user-centered design mindset.
- Refine design workflows, support high-impact product initiatives, and identify opportunities for long-term design and business growth.

- 5+ years of hands-on professional Product Design experience,



with a proven track record of delivering impactful, user-centered solutions.
- Extensive experience conducting and synthesizing user research, validating complex use cases, and driving product strategy through insights.
- Advanced sketching and whiteboarding skills, with the ability to facilitate collaborative sessions and clearly articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, with experience building and maintaining scalable design systems. Familiarity with additional tools like Sketch, Adobe products, or other prototyping tools is a plus.
- Proven ability to prototype and validate design ideas/solutions through user testing and iterative refinement, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional presentation and client-facing skills,



with the ability to confidently communicate design strategies and decisions to stakeholders and executive teams.
- Highly detail-oriented and process-driven, with a strong ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining consistency and quality across projects.
- Outstanding communication skills, both visual and verbal, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and advocate for user needs effectively.

- Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 p.a.

Hybrid PolicyAt Method we are working on a hybrid schedule. Employees work from the office 2 times each week from our office in downtown Toronto.
In your first 30 days, you will:

- Onboard and acclimate with the Design, Product and Development team.
- Understand Method’s values and how our teams collaborate to drive results.
- Learn and become an expert on our internal communication tools, norms, and practices.
- Become acquainted with our Product Teams goals and how the Design Team supports them.
- Onboarding,



to your design principles, approach, tools and research practices.
- Complete Method’s boot camp.
- Work with your manager to build tailored career goals and a plan to set you in the right direction for the upcoming quarter.

In your first 60 days, you will:

- Immerse yourself in our product discovery and delivery process.
- Start working closely with product and development teams.
- Work on ongoing product design projects, ranging from interface designs updates, prototyping and design system refinements.
- Contribute to the product team's culture, processes, and best practices.
- Support existing projects by providing insights on solutions, contributing to designs, prototyping and usability testing efforts.

In your first 90 days, you will:





- Begin to participate in user research and testing efforts to gain insights and validate the experience the Design Team is working on.
- Continue working on product design projects and our design system in Figma.
- Work with Product Teams to implement and ship features that deliver high business impact.
- Work closely with your manager to explore goals for the rest of the year.
- Contribute to our design team's quarterly goals.
- Begin to see results of your first quarter personal development.
