SCOPE
Reporting to the Manager, Institutional Support Functions Ecosystem, the incumbent leads the configuration, integration, and implementation of cutting-edge solutions, utilizing WorkForce Software. They will actively engage with internal and external partners, ensuring that our solutions not only meet but exceed business needs and the organizational strategic directions
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, plan, test and coordinate the implementation of new features, modules, or systems.
- Provide comprehensive technical and functional analysis, defining system requirements using higher education best practices.
- Identify and address systems' issues promptly, ensuring seamless operations with knowledge of impacts for better prioritization.
- Collaborate with our solution provider by raising service requests when additional support is needed to address an incident or help provide guidance on future changes.
- Lead system release activities, participating in upgrades and evaluations as required.
- Review, configure and customize modules according to design specifications.
- Contribute to quality assurance tasks to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with partnering departments, providing system knowledge, training and support as well as guidance to any potential regulatory or audit requirements.
- Manage upcoming application changes and systems enhancements, including communicating with internal teams, business process owners, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders in business terms.
- Elicit and gather business requirements and translate them into solutions with knowledge of the impacts.
- Mentor and guide other team members, ensuring their growth and development as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Administration and four to seven years of systems administration experience, including significant exposure to Finance or HR system environments.
- Expertise in WorkForce Software Policy Editor, system flow, and global time management.
- Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and writing complex queries.
- In-depth understanding of integrations between Workforce Software, SuccessFactors, and S/4HANA HCM modules.
- Thorough knowledge of systems integrations, End of Period Processing and payroll export.
- Strong grasp of HR functions and business processes operations.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and Workforce Software.
- Familiarity with project management or software development lifecycle tools such as Jira.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of motivating teams in challenging circumstances.
- Good knowledge (Level 4) of spoken and written English and basic knowledge (Level 3) of spoken French.
- WorkForce Software certifications (CT103, CT104, CT120, CT125, PT102 or equivalent)
