we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to play a key role in the success of their Construction Department. Reporting to the Vice President of Construction, this position will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our in-house construction projects as a developer.The portfolio includes a diverse range of projects with a total backlog exceeding $900 million. Individual project values range from $1–2 million to over $150 million and cover a variety of scopes, including small building retrofits, interior renovations, large-scale commercial office/residential rental conversions, and new high-rise, mixed-use commercial, residential, and retail developments in downtown Ottawa. Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the real estate development sector. Preference will be given to candidates with a focus in industrial, commercial and industrial (ICI) real estate, residential and/or high rise.While work experience will be preferred, it will be beneficial to have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, real estate development,
engineering, architecture, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory requirements.Proven track record and solid references for successfully managing complex projects from conception to completion.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.About Harbinger Network Inc:Harbinger Network Inc. is a Canadian-based firm that serves companies across Canada, a diverse Network of Recruiters, and expertise in over 10 major disciplines.
