and membership dues.Extended health and dental benefits plus a $1000 Health Spending Account annually.We are part of the BC Public Sector Pension Plan – if you join us from other Public Service or Public Sector organizations who are part of this pension plan, your pension will continue seamlessly.Hybrid work arrangement with the ability to work from home two days a week following an orientation period.Top-up allowance for maternity and parental leave.Free travel insurance for full-time employees.Transit subsidy programKey Accountabilities:Develops and implements plans to guide the delivery of technical services on the project, and implements tools and processes for monitoring progress, identifying and managing risk, measuring performance, and tracking variances from allocated budgets and schedules.Oversees the design and preload contracts and manages design work packages and deliverables, including RFIs and contract changes.Monitoring, tracking, and review of the contractor’s technical and design plans, methodologies, documents, drawings,



and scheduling changes and initiates appropriate corrective action to address issues. Provides support, and coordination on a multi-disciplinary project team.Develops management plans to implement technical data collection and support permitting initiatives.Oversees project scope and deliverables and implements and manages project charters to align with the direction of the technical program area.Coordinates the flow of technical information between the technical team the project team and the contractors. Develops and maintains a broad range of stakeholder relationships to achieve project objectives. Actively supports the management of procurement activities (e.g., RFPs, proposal evaluations, and contracts).Provides advice, guidance, and support on technical issues.



Oversees the preparation of technical advisory information and materials to support engagement activities with the public and stakeholder groups (e.g., businesses and municipalities). Prepares and delivers presentations and provides advice to senior management on project status.Develops standardized project documentation and processes to promote consistency across the project, improve current and future delivery of the project, and support employee training.Assesses project plans and processes to identify areas requiring improvement and make recommendations that support project success.Qualifications:Bachelor of Engineering degree and significant related experience in the delivery of large multi-disciplinary projects, or the equivalent experience and education. Experience working on large projects and strong understanding of project management principles and local standards and bylaws.



Related experience may include:Leading provincial projects involving a diverse range of project portfolios;Managing engineering and design workstreams;Strong understanding of municipal processes and regulationsPreparation and administration of consulting contracts;Supervising/leading multi-disciplinary teams in a professional environment;Managing relationships with senior level stakeholders and engagement sessions; andBudget management.Proven project management skills and demonstrated experience in risk management.Proven business management skillsStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.Note:You must be legally authorized to work in Canada.Collection Notice: Your personal information is collected from LinkedIn by Transportation Investment Corporation (TI Corp) pursuant to 26(c), 26(e), and 27(1)(a)(i)
