The Sr Solution Architect will be responsible for applying business and technical expertise to design, implement and support new business capabilities strategic to Group Functions long-term growth. Supporting Group Functions/corporate lines of businesses, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of the current and target state of architecture in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborating with corporate business teams to identify and drive opportunities for architecture alignment and reuse between corporate lines of businesses
- Supporting and driving definition of key aspects of the strategic architecture, identifying and resolving gaps or key issues




- Works with executives from various groups to provide architectural recommendations & guidance as well as executive-level presentations at the enterprise level.
- Providing architectural direction and communicating architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, (or related) or the equivalent in work experience
- Finance knowledge to assess impact of applied technology on insurance/banking business processes
- Expertise in large and/or complex system integration projects
- Expertise in crafting software/platform/infrastructure architecture plans to support business outcomes
- Strong understanding of various integration and architecture technologies
- Strong understanding of business domain and industry trends, including awareness of top technology trends and financial technology offerings
- Strong knowledge of API design and integration patterns and cloud-based architectures
- Knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Expertise in crafting application architecture plans to support business outcomes




- Strong expertise in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and technologies
- Deep understanding of application architecture frameworks, business domain and industry trends, including awareness of top technology trends and fintech offerings
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Certifications in relevant technologies or architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus
- Proficiency in integration technologies such as APIs, ESBs, microservices, message brokers, ETL tools, and protocols (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Experience with cloud-based integration platforms is recommended
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, integration patterns,



and best practices
- Ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure integration solutions
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and devise innovative solutions
- Proficiency in assessing trade-offs between various integration approaches
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and create comprehensive documentation
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams, mentoring developers, and driving consensus on technical decisions within a collaborative environment.
- Background in designing robust systems architectures to support organizational needs
- Track record of translating business strategies into IT solutions for seamless integration and growth
- Proficiency in systems design,

- Proficiency in data architecture and modeling, facilitating informed decision-making and data-driven insights
- Proficient in hybrid Cloud, DevSecOps, and FinOps
- Strong background in designing and implementing modern platform solutions using cloud services, containerization, orchestration tools, and infrastructure automation
- Proficiency in architectural principles, design patterns, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices for building scalable, distributed, and resilient platforms
- Experience with microservices architecture is advantageous
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP),



containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD pipelines
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and design innovative solutions
