The Co-Executive Director is pivotal in leading ANNISAA’s strategic initiatives, driving program innovation, fostering partnerships, and engaging stakeholders. This role demands a visionary leader with exceptional fundraising, community engagement, and team leadership skills who is deeply committed to creating a lasting impact in the community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Program Oversight: Collaborate to monitor and evaluate programs, ensuring they meet community needs.
- Innovation: Identify and develop new programs or initiatives that advance the organization’s mission.
- Partnership Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including community leaders and donors.
- Compliance Support: Ensure adherence to organizational policies and legal standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, social work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Proven leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, with a track record of managing budgets, teams, and programs.
- Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead, and manage diverse teams.
- Fundraising Expertise: Proven experience securing funding through grants, donations, and partnerships.
- Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of nonprofit budgeting and financial management.
- Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategic plans.
- Cultural Competence: Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
- Technology: Proficiency in software and platforms, including HUMI, Grant Connect, Asana, QuickBooks, Microsoft 365 Suite, Hootsuite, MailChimp, Square Space and social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Canva. Skilled in email server management using Microsoft.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or travel as required.
- Vulnerable Sector Check: Must provide a satisfactory Police Record Check and a Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check, demonstrating alignment with the Agency’s mission and commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
- Step 1: Submit Your Application: Submissions will be reviewed continuously, and suitable candidates may be invited to proceed to the next steps promptly.
- Step 2: Tele-Screening (Phone Interview): Shortlisted candidates will participate in a brief phone screening. This step focuses on getting to know you better, assessing your values, and determining cultural alignment with our team and organization. This conversation is informal and not directly related to the role's responsibilities.
- Step 3: First Interview (Zoom):
Selected candidates will participate in a formal interview via Zoom to discuss their qualifications, skills, and how they align with the role's expectations.
- Step 4: Scenario-Based Home Assignment: Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a scenario-based home assignment to demonstrate their approach to relevant challenges and tasks.
- Step 5: Final Selection and Onboarding: Successful candidates will be informed of their selection and provided with the next steps for onboarding.
