Position: Field Service Technician / Heavy Duty Mechanic

Location: Based in our client's state-of-the-art fabrication shop facility. Fieldwork may require travel up to 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment both on-site and in the field.
- Start up and commission new equipment at customer locations.
- Adjust, repair, and replace defective parts or systems as required.
- Collaborate with customers to define repair scopes and maintain strong service relationships.
- Accurately document time, technical reports, and parts usage.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and quality in all work performed.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Certification: Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) certification required, with on-road/off-road tickets preferred.
- Experience: Expertise in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with drilling equipment and transportation vehicles is an asset.
- Tools: Must have your own tools.
- Travel-Ready: Valid driver’s license and passport required. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes on short notice.
- Skills: Strong communication, independent work ethic, and computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
- Safety First: Prior safety training is a bonus, though training will be provided if necessary.
