The Marketing and Communications Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the execution of marketing and communications initiatives as determined by the Marketing and Communications department. This position will collaborate closely with Strategists,
Specialists and department leadership to ensure that marketing and communications plans are effectively implemented and aligned with institutional goals.
Responsibilities:
- Frequently manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables using online project management tools to ensure campaigns are executed effectively;
- Work with MarCom Strategists to understand and synthesize client strategies into concise briefs and MarCom plans on one-off projects to be delivered to Studio for tactical execution;
- Write and edit engaging content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and other digital and print materials, while maintaining brand voice and consistency;
- Occasionally create graphics and visuals using online design tools and templates to support various marketing campaigns and remain on-brand;
- Support Strategists with various social media accounts. Develop content calendars, schedule posts, engage with followers and pull reports to demonstrate effectiveness;
- Support Marketing and Communications leadership on institutional projects; and,
- Provide coordination and logistics support for photography and videography shoots.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business,
Public Relations or Communications preferred in combination with 2 – 3 years of relevant experience;
- Superior communication skills are critical with experience working with diverse stakeholders;
- Strong attention to detail and organization is essential;
- Demonstration of above average interpersonal and collaborative skills with experience working in complex workplaces, both on-site and remotely with many key stakeholders; and,
- Comprehensive understanding of various desktop and online software is required.
Salary: $60,571- $76,640
