Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.
SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and talented Civil EIT to join our growing helical pile team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in civil engineering and a passion for the designing and constructing of helical pile deep foundations as well as assist with coordination of projects.
Work Location:
Acheson Corporate Office (Acheson, AB)
Start Date: January 2025
Shift: Monday-Friday
Hours: 7:30AM to 4:00PM
JOB DUTIES
- Assist in the design of helical piles, performing calculations and analysis
- Prepare construction drawings
- Review Geotechnical Reports.
- Conduct site visits and inspections
- Research codes and regulations
- Collaborate with other engineers and 3rd parties
- Contribute to project proposals and reports
- Coordinate construction activities and vendors, including schedule, costs and progress tracking
- Create RFI's and Change Orders for review and submission
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
