Job Title: Sr. Sourcing Manager

Length: 6 Month Contract (Potential for Permanent)

Rate: $70-80/hour

Location: Mississauga, Burlington, Guelph (Hybrid from any location)

Job Summary: The Sr. Sourcing Manager will be responsible for identifying sourcing opportunities and managing the end-to-end procurement life-cycle. This role involves working with Tier 1 IT vendors, managing relationships, and driving cost reduction while maintaining or improving quality and service levels. The Sr. Sourcing Manager will develop category sourcing strategies and plans, manage tendering processes, negotiate contract terms and conditions, and oversee a team of 2 to 3 direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:





- Identify and capitalize on sourcing opportunities.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement life-cycle.
- Work with Tier 1 IT vendors and manage vendor relationships.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining or improving quality and service.
- Develop and implement category sourcing strategies and plans.
- Manage tendering processes and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Lead and manage a team of 2 to 3 direct reports.

- Qualifications:

- Minimum of 8 years of IT procurement experience.
- Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 vendors.
- Proven experience in leading negotiations and influencing stakeholders.
- Ability to lead processes, set strategies, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Experience in leading IT categories, with a focus on software. Hardware-only experience will not be sufficient.
- Beneficial to have 8-10+ years of overall procurement experience.
- Strong experience in creating and executing sourcing strategies.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Mississauga, Burlington, or Guelph.
