As a Lead Associate, you'll contribute to complex analyses and projects involving employer health and group benefit programs. You’ll work with carriers/vendors and client teams, prepare deliverables, and ensure quality standards. This role offers opportunities to grow your expertise in health and benefits, project management, and communication skills while supporting the rapid growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple client teams, providing project management, financial analysis, and client deliverables
- Guide benefit plan analysis, design, cost strategies, and risk management
- Support carrier/vendor financial reviews and client decisions
- Ensure technical accuracy on client projects, including pricing,
plan design, and reserves
- Deliver claim reporting and financial modeling
- Collaborate with global teams and ensure superior project management
- Manage RFPs, analyze proposals, and recommend carriers
- Ensure timely and accurate client communication and placement deliverables
- Support internal teams in financial operations and reporting
- Handle special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in benefit consulting, brokerage, or insurance (underwriting/actuarial)
- Strong knowledge of health and benefits products, underwriting, and funding
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong client service skills and teamwork
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Provincial Life and Health license required within 180 days
- Relevant degree or experience
