Formed out of a partnership between a world-leading applied AI company and a world-leading research hospital, they provide hospitals with a comprehensive clinical AI platform and end-to-end clinical AI solutions.The clinical AI platform is a secure cloud-based environment which enables the clinical users and researchers to navigate through patient data, develop AI models, deliver them directly into clinical workflows, and monitor them in real-time with AI explainability tools.The first clinical AI application is a clinical deterioration predictor which accurately predicts unexpected deterioration of patients.
It has been proven to reduce hospital mortality rates and is transforming how care is delivered at our partner hospital.We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Application Engineering Team. You will:Build the frontend and backend clinical AI platform.Lead software design and promote best engineering practices.Be a core part of product strategy and design discussions.Collaborate closely with a world-class team of machine learning scientists.Work in cross-functional teams of security, infrastructure, platform, and application engineering.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.At least 5 years of software development experience.Experience in frontend web development, preferably with TypeScript and React.Experience in backend development, preferably with Java and Spring Framework.Strong understanding of CS fundamentals such as: system design, data structures, object-oriented programming, functional programming, and concurrency.Preferred Qualifications:You care about all aspects of product development: research, design, development, delivery,
and feedback.You are passionate about creating great user experience and data visualization.You are comfortable working with the unknowns; breaking down high level ideas into concrete plans.You have a bird’s eye view of software architecture. You also pay attention to the small details.
