In the early 1990s, Chick and Marilyn Stewart teamed up with the former General Manager of the Vancouver Golf Club, Pat Duffey, to pursue developing the finest 36-hole PUBLIC golf facility in British Columbia. Hiring world-renowned golf course architect, a seven-time major champion, Arnold Palmer, to design two 18-hole courses, was the first step in achieving this dream.Northview is the proud home to two of the most exciting and challenging golf courses in British Columbia. The two 18-hole golf courses reflect the dashing “go for broke” style of Mr. Palmer’s play.The clubhouse features a classic west coast design. The upper level of the building contains one restaurant with 2 dining areas (Duffey’s Sports Grill and the Patio).
There are also meeting rooms and banquet space that can accommodate up to 400 people. The lower level of the clubhouse features the Golf Shop, locker rooms with full shower facilities.The Food and Beverage Manager, reporting to the General Manager, is responsible for all food and beverage service-related aspects of Northview Golf & Country Club. All back of house and all front of house team members report to you. You will be an experienced Manager looking after the people on your team. You will provide excellent leadership and training, ensuring all members of the team provide excellent food and beverage service experiences.You will be financially accountable for all areas of food and beverage operations working within the approved budget. This includes increasing sales and growing overall revenues. You will provide input into capital projects that improve our offerings and experiences.The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with the team and customers alike.
